This Westinghouse 24-Inch extension downrod helps maximize your ceiling fan's cooling benefits by positioning it at the proper height. It features a brushed nickel finish that complements existing ceiling fan finishes. The tapered, threaded ends ensure a strong bond and a secure connection. The extension downrod measures 24 inches long for use with Westinghouse Lighting or other ceiling fans that require a 1/2 ID downrod. It provides maximum durability, ideal for 12-foot ceilings. For optimum performance and safety, most ceiling fan blades should be at least 7 feet from the floor but no higher than 8 to 9 feet to best cool a room.
