Design Automatic rainwater utilisation system with hybrid replenishment reservoir with a volume of 400 litres and 2 non-self-priming, horizontal, multistage centrifugal pumps from the Medana CH1-L, Helix2.0 VE or Medana CH3-LE series. System installed on a vibration-insulated baseplate in a compact design including an 8-litre diaphragm expansion tank and fully electronic EC control unit (Easy Control) with control electronics and level control from up to two feeding pumps (ordered separately) (storage tank pump, 3~ 400 V). Application Commercial and industrial rainwater utilisation for conserving drinking water as a hybrid system in conjunction with rainwater storage tanks or vessels Equipment/function - Module in compact design that is ready for connection, electronics and hydraulics already hooked up - Vibration-insulated baseplate with height-adjustable pedestal, made up of: - Two non-self-priming, corrosion-free, low-noise centrifugal pumps from the Medana CH1-L, Helix2.0 VE or Medana CH3-LE series - Large-volume hybrid tank (400 litres) with integrated filling level sensor (cable length: 1.5 m, measurement range: 0 to 1 m), all connections, non-turbulent supply lines, overflow with siphon and connection options for extension module (ordered separately) - Throughflow diaphragm expansion tank conforming to DIN 4807 for energy savings if there are very small leaks in the building - Fully electronic EC-Rain switchgear (Easy Control) in a metallic housing, IP54 rating. With control electronics including solenoid valve, pressure transmitter 4–20 mA: - Two separate LED displays (1 EC(e)-Booster printed circuit board to control up to two feeding pumps (storage tank pumps, 3~ 400V), 1 EC-Rain printed circuit board to control the high-pressure multistage centrifugal pump) show operating data, controller parameters, operating statuses of the pumps, error messages and history memory - Menu navigation with seven-segment display and visualisation - Factory-preset parameters for easy commissioning/start - Setting of operating parameters and acknowledgement of fault messages using rotary knob - Lockable main switch - Elapsed time indicator for each pump and for the entire system - Dry-running and overflow meter - Fault memory for the last 10 faults - Level monitoring of the rainwater storage tank with overflow detection and metering - Hybrid tank: High water alarm and overflow detection - Over-/underpressure detection - Dry-running protection of pump - Automatic periodic water exchange in the hybrid tank (intervals selectable) - Collective run and fault signals via potential-free contacts - Optional inputs/outputs (see interfaces) Technical data - Mains connection: 3~400 V (±10%), 50 Hz - Max. negative suction head: 8 m - Max. operating pressure: 10 bar - IP rating: IP54 - Connections: - Discharge-side manifold R 1 ½ - Inlets Rp 1 ¼, suction side inlets R 1 ¼ - Overflow connection DN 100 Materials - Pump housing made of 1.4301 stainless steel - Impeller made of Noryl - Shaft made of 1.4031 stainless steel - Mechanical seal made of ceramic/carbon - Stage chambers made of Noryl - Diaphragm expansion tank, steel, painted Scope of delivery - Factory-mounted rainwater utilisation system ready for connection - Installation and operating instructions
