The Bearing Gard employs static and dynamic sealing technologies to prevent ingress of contaminants into the bearing housing and ensure oil retention, even when the equipment is shut down. An internal O-ring between the rotor and stator prevents contamination from entering the bearing housing when the equipment is not operating. When the equipment is started, the static sealing system quickly transitions to non-contacting operation for permanent non-wearing performance.
