The Batley Valve BV 14000 Ledge Seal is ideal when handling high-temperature or low-pressure gases, and soft-seated shutoff valves are not suitable. This valve is designed to reduce the leakage to approximately one-third of the swing-through valve. It should be noted that the ledge reduces the bore and may affect the flow capacity.
