We offer the most complete line of blades and accessories for the snow plough market, all with well-known ESCO® Bucyrus Blades™ quality. All edges are precision punched for quick and easy mounting and are produced from only the highest quality steels. Ploughs will keep running longer, with fewer changes when they're equipped with ESCO® snow plough blades and shoes. ESCO® Bucyrus Blades™ snow plough blade options include: Our ForgeTemp® alloy blades are high carbon steel that provides excellent hardness but with a balanced toughness for impact resistance - a popular choice to provide the lowest cost-per-mile of operation. High carbon steel blades for all makes models and sizes, featuring an excellent balance of abrasion resistance and impact protection. Flame-hardened blades in ¾ inch and 1-inch thicknesses for increased wear life, leading and trailing surfaces continually sharpen the cutting edge and prevent slivering, cuts ice and compacted snow on the first pass. This option provides up to 62 RC for excellent wear resistance and is available with Infinity® embedded carbide for maximum protection against abrasion. Tungsten carbide inserts are the strongest and most wear-resistant material in the world, carbide inserted blades feature longer wear life than any other type of snow plough blade - the best choice for higher-speed operations like major highways and airport runways. The FlexPro™ system features tungsten carbide inserted blades encased in specially formulated rubber that absorbs impact and decreases damaging vibration to reduce wear and tear on the equipment. FlexPro™ blades were engineered to adjust to variations in the road surface and minimise damage to highway markings.
