ESCO® Heavy Duty (HD) mining hoe buckets retain the same great features and engineering showcased in our General Purpose (GP) buckets while employing thicker plate steel for increased strength and durability. ESCO® HD mining hoe buckets are engineered to deliver unsurpassed performance and durability in the following conditions and applications: Blasted or easily fractured rock and ore Overburden Medium density Medium impact Engineered to reduce customer investment while still providing excellent performance in tough mining applications. The single beam configuration is reinforced with unique interior gussets and longer lug plates that provide optimum strength to eliminate deformation in demanding mining applications. Corner gussets reduce stress in the beam's transition to the side stiffener. The result is a bucket that provides excellent productivity and reliability in most mining applications. ESCO® mining hoe buckets are custom-engineered for 100-ton to 800-ton excavators to match the specific application's required capacity and duty cycle and are available with standard or fully customised wear packages.
