Featuring thicker, stronger plate steel than our General Purpose (GP) bucket, the ESCO® Heavy Duty (HD) wheel loader buckets were developed as an economically viable product for tough mining applications – reducing customer investment while still providing excellent performance. Built to provide excellent productivity and reliability in most mining applications. Heavy duty bucket applications include: Blasted or easily fractured rock and ore Overburden Medium density Medium impact Standard features of ESCO® HD wheel loader buckets include: Thicker plate steel than our GP buckets – increasing strength and durability for more demanding, heavy-duty applications Single-formed beam design – suited to HD applications (see the XHD bucket for triple-formed beam) Cast lip corners – relocating the welds away from high-stress areas Customisable bottom skid plates and wear protection packages to reduce downtime and extend the service life Field-proven ESCO® lips and GET – maximum reliability and fewer and faster parts replacements Rock deflectors and corner gussets – increasing durability and reducing maintenance Complete wear protection options are also available.
