The ESCO® Nemisys® lip system for electric rope shovel dippers is engineered to elevate shovel productivity and deliver maximum reliability and retention with less maintenance. A lighter weight lip better sized to today’s machines and a streamlined profile optimises production and machine working cycles. The new hammerless tooth and shroud system helps reduce maintenance costs through improved reliability, faster and safer replacement and improved lip coverage. The streamlined profile, combined with lower system weight, improves dig penetration for lower energy extraction over traditional mechanical rope shovel dipper lip systems. These single-piece castings with cast integral noses are poured in premium ESCO® alloys for excellent toughness and weldability. The hammerless tooth and shroud system helps reduce maintenance costs through improved reliability and faster, safer replacement. For simplified maintenance and parts management – including up to 50% reduction in the number of parts to manage – full lip protection is provided by the same shroud in all positions on our Nemisys® wide radius lips. The ESCO® Nemisys® lip system for rope shovels feature all Nemisys® components, including: Wide radius cast lip with integral noses Intermediate adapters Wear caps Teeth Lip shrouds Nemisys® wide radius rope shovel dipper lips deliver better penetration and increased production, with corner teeth cutting clearance for the dipper. The streamlined Nemisys® tooth system enhances loading, offers superior wear life, and features a hammerless locking system for safer, faster maintenance and reduced downtime. Full lip protection is provided by the same shroud in all positions.
