Engineered to produce high-quality, well-shaped particles and fine aggregates (e.g. sand), the Trio® vertical shaft impact crusher (or "vertical shaft impactor"), uses innovative technology to deliver outstanding performance in tertiary and quaternary crushing applications. This specialised, high performance vertical shaft impact crusher is designed to deliver flexibility through its modular crusher housing and replaceable rotor types. Lubrication of the bearing cartridge via a dedicated lubrication unit facilitates a rotor speed that is higher than traditionally offered by grease lubricated bearings. Offering versatility, our Trio® TV Series impact crushers can be configured for a variety of crushing, shaping, beneficiation, and sand production tasks. In addition, modifications can be made post-sale in the event of a change in requirements. The Trio® TV Series vertical shaft impact crusher is built for high performance and flexibility featuring: A welded carbon steel main frame A chrome iron feed plate, impeller shoes and feed pipe Tungsten carbide tipped inner and outer rotor bars Replaceable chrome iron wear rings and plates Cast iron anvil rings These vertical impact crushers are renowned for the following benefits: Reconfigurable for a variety of applications, feed material and conditions Produces a high-quality and well-shaped end product Unlike compression crushers (e.g. Jaw & Cone Crushers), the Trio® vertical shaft impact crusher relies on a combination of rock on rock and rock on steel impact crushing. Inside the crushing chamber, its rotors disperse rocks at high speeds causing them to break along natural fracture lines due to the high energy impact. Although both the Trio® TV Series (VSI) and the Trio® APS Series (HSI) can be used in tertiary and quaternary applications, we recommend the TV Series when processing smaller sized feed materials.
