The ENDURON® EP series pedestal crusher— also referred to as a fixed-shaft cone crusher— is designed to balance horsepower, crushing force and crushing volume, delivering highly efficient results with a compact cone crusher design and footprint. Frequently used in secondary, tertiary and quaternary crushing applications, these compact cone crushers are ideal for producing cubical aggregates and significantly reducing rock size at high production rates. The crusher operates by compressing material multiple times as it passes through the crushing chamber. As the head “rolls” around the inside of the bowl assembly, rocks are crushed multiple times, starting high in the crushing chamber, before exiting through the open side at the bottom of the crushing chamber.
