Our original Cavex® classifying cyclone set new industry benchmarks when introduced in 1996, over 20 years ago . Its laminar spiral inlet geometry design , containing corner-less full-circle 3D curvature, is renowned for reducing turbulence inside the hydrocyclone , whilst increasing capacity, efficiency and wear life. Compared to other separating equipment, the Cavex® CVX hydrocyclone has: A smaller footprint High capacity Low capital and operational cost, and Flexible operating capability This allows it to provide exceptional performance in a wide range of applications. Our Cavex® hydrocyclone consists of a metal cast housing that can be lined with a variety of wear-resistant materials including rubber, ceramic and polyurethane. This makes it suitable for a wide range of applications in even the toughest conditions. In 2020, our second-generation hydrocyclone, Cavex® 2 , was launched with further improved efficiency, capacity and volume.
