Our latest technological development in the vertical sump pumps category (sometimes called ""trash pumps""), the Warman® WBV® heavy-duty vertical pump can handle arduous applications that require continuous pumping of corrosive slurries or mediums which can be highly abrasive (Service Class: 1-3). These pumps are specifically designed for difficult applications requiring agitation to ensure no solids build up such as with large-particle and high-density slurries. They can also be used where poor sump design prevents standard trash/sump pump operation. The Warman® WBV® pump is self cleaning and provides consistent performance in sump applications which have posed a major challenge for years due to their often unpredictable and inconsistent operating conditions. Compared to other trash sump pumps, Warman® WBV® pumps offer the following benefits: Provide substantial performance and deliver one of the lowest total ownership costs in its class Can be paired with a Warman® SP/SPR sump pump to create an ultra heavy-duty hybrid pump Available with two bearing frame options to enable operation throughout its full speed range and avoid critical speed bands The motor can be mounted with the shaft up to maintain a low centre of gravity to minimise pump vibrations and head room required for installation Contain a combination of features that induce agitation and inlet flow to ensure solids do not settle and build up in the sump or cause the pump intake to block during normal pump operation Continuous or “snore” operation For more information about Warman® heavy-duty trash pumps, please get in touch with our team.
